Hyatt’s presence in Panama continues to grow, and it has recently acquired a beautiful property in El Valle de Antón. This picturesque town is situated in the crater of an extinct volcano, 2.5 hours from Panama City and at 600 meters above sea level. The surrounding area offers a lush cloud forest and pleasant weather year-round, making it an ideal destination for those seeking to combine relaxation, adventure, bird and amphibian watching, and much more, thanks to the significant conservation centers established in the area.
Enjoy exquisite gourmet cuisine that will be offered on-site.
In the Panamanian Caribbean, located in a lush archipelago of tropical islands, just a short flight from Panama City, a travel experience like no other is being developed. Viceroy Bocas del Toro Panama will feature 42 private overwater villas.
It will be easy to relax in one of these villas, surrounded by coral reefs, pristine jungle, and white sand beaches. Here you will find great adventures surrounded by unparalleled luxury. If you wish, you can enjoy sailing, paddleboarding, kayaking, snorkeling, surfing, or simply marvel at all the wonders of the surrounding nature.
The resort will also feature 186 rooms and a residential section. To complement this, it will offer 8 restaurant options, meeting rooms, several pools, a spa, a gym, and a meditation area.
In Panama, you will find the best excursions on boats, yachts, and catamarans for whale watching.
The options are varied; we can easily coordinate visits to Coiba, Isla Contadora, Isla Bolaños, Santa Catalina, and the Boca Chica region.
The season starts in the second week of July and extends until early October, with August being the best month for whale watching along the entire Panamanian Pacific coast.
Humpback whales travel up to 25,000 kilometers annually to reach Panama, seeking warm waters that range between 24°C and 32°C. We can observe them performing their courtship rituals, with breaches and beautiful songs that can be heard up to 30 kilometers away.
These giant mammals take advantage of the abundance of fish on the coasts of Panama to hunt in groups, corralling and devouring hundreds of prey in each maneuver.
Since March 2023, the Panama Metro also connects the capital with Tocumen International Airport, the country’s main airport and an important regional hub.
The branch of Line 2 of the Panama Metro runs two kilometers from the Corredor Sur station fork, on the outskirts of Panama City, to Tocumen International Airport.
The new extension of the line benefits 100,000 residents of eastern Panama City, tourists, airport workers, and students, according to official information.
“This new service makes Panama the first country in Central America and one of the few cities in South America to have a metro system connection between the city center and the main airport.”
